I think it's time to bump this topic back up to the top. smile

I talked with several people over the past few days. First I called Gail Storm. She is doing about the same. Keep her in your prayers, folks, as she is still battling ill-health.

Next I made a call to Sycamore. She seems to be having computer problems these days. Otherwise, she is doing well.

I also made a quick call to Greenie who was on her way out the door when I called. She is doing well. However, she did lose e-mail addresses when she changed computers. I hope to hear from her by e-mail in the near future.

Polly and I have been playing phone tag. I'm going to try to get in touch with her again soon. We have things to plan as she will be my house guest in August. O, Frabjous Day! smile

And now it's time for me to set off into the elements (too hot) and see about getting my hair cut (too much bangs).

While surfing I found this great looking B5 site! I believe it is Romanian (RU?) and most of the script is Cyrillic, but it has such a great look (IMHO!) and nifty subsections. There is also a Shadow vs Vorlon game, but I'm afraid I can't figure it out and both of my Vorlon ships were destroyed. LOL! I found the site at www.babylon5.ru. Enjoy!

Syc... ".ru" is Russia. However, that doesn't necessarily mean the site is in Russia. Could be here in the states and the person who got the domain got it from the registrar that handles the .ru domain. There've been a number of countries that allow domain names to be assigned to their particular country. .cx is Christmas Island, and I know that they don't have near enough website facilities to be the home host. Recent ads have been for .tv and .ws (for website, I suppose). I forget which country tv is assigned to, but .ws is Western Samoa (which might not even go by that name any more). Even .md is touted for medical professionals only, but it's really assigned to the eastern European country of Moldova. .ru is probably for anyone with enough rubles to make everyone happy.

Although AV never does a completely accurate translation (this can be amusing much of the time), you get most of it. Cool site by the way!

Tracsand, that's a great site for translation. Amusing is an understatement. I think I understand why people who speak Russian as their primary language have such interesting English phrasings.

B'Mat!!! I was afraid you had gone beyond the Rim! So glad to see ya here!

BabelFish had crossed my mind as I was playing there, but it was late and I didn't realize I could simply send Babel to the site--thought I had to type in what I wanted translated. I was so impressed that this B5 site let my 'puter show the Cyrilic in most areas instead of whatever-they-call-it that looks like old English or old Icelandic that fills letter spaces on Russian, Hebrew, Greek, and Arabic language sites (and probably many others!). I'll try it. Thanks, Tracky!
